RAINBOW SIX EXTRACTION

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction is a Tactical co-op FPS from Ubisoft. In the game, each mission brings intense, thrilling and unpredictable experiences.

Working with the motion design team, I designed and animated the 2D content of the Onboarding's videos, created the final holographic look and animated 
the insertion maps,
build the promotion showcase package and animated the final compositing of the start screen and the Spill Over Keyart.
I also animated the titles for the DLC’s teasers Spill Over, Nightmare Fog and Eclipse, and developed some in game ui animation mockups.

ONBOARDING VIDEOS

We were mandated to produce 3 explainers videos. Each one covers a different concept of the game. The first one, named Onboarding, details the main part of the gameplay, the second one explains the progression, and the third one, named Maelstrom, the end-game loop principle.

We aimed for a hi-end holographic look, showing the React’s advanced technological level. On top of it, the graphic 2D UI is used to show the gameplay concept.

INSERTION MAPS

Those introductions videos help establish the starting point of the player in the map.
The 3D matte painting team and Motion Design team, worked together to create this techie holographic transition.
Twelve locations with 3 different insertions points per maps were created for a total of 36 videos.

Add life to the beautiful Airlock key art. 
The main challenge here was to mix 2d animation of the goo with 3d animation of the electrical panel. Additional 3d renders with c4d + Redshift. Final compositing in After Effects.
